Seventy-Six Named To League Honor Roll
Jan. 24, 2007 MILWAUKEE - Seventy-six University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student-athletes are among 527 people named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced today. The 76 honorees are the second-most in the league to Butler's 83, though Butler sponsors four more Horizon League sports than does. Milwaukee's average of more than five student-athletes per sport sponsored is the best in the league. Candidates for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll must participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent season, complete three semesters as a full-time student and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 as of Dec. 31, 2006.
