MILWAUKEE, Wis. (March 6, 2006) - Thanks largely to sponsor donations, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee athletic department is issuing 250 free tickets to students for today's Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship game to be played at the Klotsche Center at 3 p.m.

The free tickets will be issued to UWM students in the Sandburg Hall lobby today from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. Once the limited supply of free tickets is exhausted, students can purchase their tickets through the UWM Ticket Office, or at distribution points in the UWM Union or Sandburg Hall for $5 with a valid student ID.

The Panthers are playing for their first Horizon League Tournament title and NCAA Tournament bid since 2001. UWM is seeded first in the tournament and is taking on No. 3 UIC.
