MILWAUKEE -- The Midwestern Collegiate Conference honored 64 student-athletes by placing them on the winter All-Conference Academic teams, the league office announced yesterday.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has the most athletes on the teams with 14, followed by Cleveland State and Loyola which both had 10 athletes recognized.

Athletes named to the teams had to compile an overall 3.25 or above grade point average and have completed three full semesters.

The UWM students-athletes named to the All-Conference teams are:

Julie Metrish, Sr., track and field, mechanical engineering (West Bend, Wis./East)

Daniel Babcock, So., swimming and diving, business (Verona, Wis./Verona)

Adam Hanson, So., swimming and diving, business (Verona, Wis./Verona)

Adam Stoelting, Sr., swimming and diving, computer science (Kiel, Wis./Kiel)

Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg, Sr., swimming and diving, Architecture (Green Bay, Wis./Preble)

Leslie Brock, So., swimming and diving, letters and science (Appleton, Wis./North)

Jessica Hoffmann, Jr., swimming and diving, nursing (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower)
