Announcement of Position Vacancy (6670.100)

POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach Women's Basketball
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Academic staff position to serve as Assistant Coach Women's Basketball.

Responsibilities:
Assistant Coach - Under the direction of the Head Coach and in accordance with all NCAA, Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations will assist in the recruitment of student-athletes; practice and game planning; player skill development; academic monitoring, advising and counseling; office management and promotional activities. And other duties as assigned.

Starting Date: June 15, 2005

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Collegiate coaching experience preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a record of accomplishment in coaching, academic success and rules compliance. Strong communication skills with faculty, students, alumni and general public is highly preferred.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
