POSITION TITLE: Athletic Trainer I - Second Assistant Athletic Trainer/Clinical Instructor (POS. # 4837.054)

Responsibilities:
Provide Athletic Training Services to women's volleyball and women's basketball teams, provide strength and conditioning services to student-athletes, teach Athletic Training classes within the accredited Athletic Training Education Program, and coordinate/provide medical services to summer camps.

Assist in the delivery of strength and conditioning services: Provide medical documentation and maintain medical files; Coordinate and provide medical coverage for summer camps; Develop, deliver, instruct, present, and test students in Athletic Training classes; Assist other sports medicine staff with injury/illness care; Supervise and evaluate athletic training students

QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters of Science degree or equivalent in Athletic Training or related field; current certification from the NATA BOC; License as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Wisconsin; Instructor certification in CPR PRO with AED; One year teaching experience in an accredited Athletic Training Education Program; hardworking, and have the willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and possibly traditional holiday's

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current CSCS certification from the NSCA and current ACI instructor

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications plus comprehensive benefits package.

Starting date: August 1, 2005
