UWM Alum Kidd Named New Cheerleading Coach

MILWAUKEE - Bridgette Kidd is the new cheerleading coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Kidd, a 2006 graduate of UWM and a former Panther cheerleader, has been the cheerleading coach at Greenfield High School since 2003.

Kidd has also served as an instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association.

While at Greenfield, Kidd has been responsible for all aspects of the cheerleading program. She has coached the varsity, junior varsity and competition teams while also organizing all of the financial and planning aspects of the program.

Kidd's earned her bachelor's degree in dance from the Peck School of the Arts, graduating cum laude. She is also a member of the Army National Guard, currently serving as the Milwaukee Regional Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge.
