Milwaukee - Todd Hill, a diver on the swimming and diving team, and Katie Schneider, a setter on the volleyball team, have been named the Pepsi UWM Athletes of the Month for October.

Hill, a senior from West Bend, Wis. (East High School), picked up where he left off a year ago, when he was named MCC Diver of the Year. Hill won both diving events in a dual meet against Northwestern on Oct. 29. In the 3-meter event, he outpaced his nearest competitor by over 25 points. In the 1-meter event, he outpaced his nearest competitor by almost 10 points.

Schneider, a senior from West Bend, Wis. (East High School), led the Panthers to a perfect 7-0 record in October, averaging 14.69 assists per game. She also added a team-leading 12 service aces and tallied 71 digs. Throughout the month of October, Schneider ranked in the nation’s top five for assists per game, ranking as high at second in the nation at the close of October.
