Brooks Graff makes the jump from the playing field to the dugout, having spent the past two seasons playing for the UWM baseball team after transferring in from Gulf Coast Community College in Florida.
The two-year letterwinner played in 83 career games in a Panther uniform, hitting .285 with eight home runs and 45 runs batted in. Last season, he became the 24th player in program history to hit multiple home runs in one game when he went deep twice against IPFW April 6.
2005: Batted .263 in 43 games, making 42 starts ... his 35 runs scored was second on the team ... ended the season on a 12-game hitting streak, the longest streak of the year for any UWM player ... batted .388 (19-for-49) in the stretch, including five multi-hit games ... collected three hits versus Arkansas State March 6 ... career-high six RBI against IPFW April 6, including three hits, season-high three runs and two home runs ... batted .500 (11-for-22) in the Horizon League Tournament, scoring seven runs and knocking in six.
2004: Batted .309 on the season with 39 starts ... ripped five home runs to go with six doubles and 24 RBI ... drilled two home runs in fourteen at-bats in season-opening series at Kansas (Mar. 5-7) ... went 4-for-6 with a double, home run, two runs and four RBI in victory at Saint Louis (Mar. 12) ... homered and drove in four runs with a home run at Northern Illinois (Apr. 6) ... went 6-for-8 in back-to-back games at Butler (Apr. 10-11) ... returned from a broken hand to rip three hits and two doubles at Wright State on May 9 ... went 3-for-4 with three runs scored at Southern Illinois (May 15) ... drove in three runs in Horizon League Tournament win over Wright State (May 26) ... ended the season on a five-game hitting streak.
