2012: Enjoyed a solid sophomore campaign after a slow start ... ended the season with a .300 average in 50 games, all starts ... set career-highs in almost all categories, scoring 35 runs, recording 57 hits, 13 doubles and 28 RBI ... walked a team-high 22 times to post a .375 on-base percentage ... named to the College Sports Madness Second-Team All-Horizon League squad ... followed up a slow start by batting .382 (47-for-123) from April on ... had all but one of his extra-base hits and 24 of 28 RBI come after that point ... was third on the team with 16 multi-hit games and finished 10th in the Horizon League in doubles ... had a base hit in the season opener at East Carolina Feb. 17 ... had two hits, including his only home run of the season, and scored twice at Minnesota Feb. 25 ... posted the first of seven three-hit games April 1, going 3-for-4 and tying career-high with three runs scored against UIC ... that started a 13-game hitting streak that saw him go 28-for-56 (.500) to raise his season average 160 points at the time ... posted six multi-hit games in a row April 11 to 24, including a three-game series at Wright State where he went 9-for-14 with five doubles ... named Horizon League Player of the Week as part of that performance, finishing with a .579 average in four games, with 7-of-11 hits for extra bases ... three hits at UIC May 4 ... 2-for-3 with two RBI the next day against the Flames ... 3-for-4 in a win over Wright State May 17 ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
