2012: One of the best pitchers in the Horizon League, earning First-Team All-League honors and consideration for Pitcher of the Year after going 6-5 with a league-leading 2.74 earned run average ... also named to the College Sports Madness First-Team All-Horizon League squad ... ERA was the second-lowest for a starter in UWM history ... made 15 starts, striking out 69 batters in a team-high 95.1 innings of work ... limited opponents to a .249 batting average ... was in the top five of Horizon League leaders in numerous categories: first in ERA, second in strikeouts, strikeouts looking and opponent average, fourth in victories and starts and fifth in innings pitched ... allowed just one run in 6.0 innings of a no-decision against East Carolina Feb. 18 in first start of season ... allowed no earned runs in 7.1 innings against Minnesota Feb. 25, striking out seven and walking one in a game UWM eventually won in extra innings ... earned Horizon League Pitcher of the Week honors for his efforts ... earned first win of the season at Youngstown State March 17 ... struck out nine and allowed just one run in 8.0 innings of a win over UIC March 31 ... named league pitcher of the week a second time after that performance ... set a career-high with 10 strikeouts against YSU April 21, earning his league-best third pitcher of the week honor after giving up one run in 7.0 innings of the victory ... also that day, helped mark the first time in school history that the Panthers had both starters in a twinbill record 10 or more K's ... won his final three starts of the campaign, topping Butler May 12, Wright State May 18 and Butler again May 24 in the Horizon League Tournament.
