Panther Baseball Rained Out Wednesday

March 23, 2005

BRADENTON, Fla. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team was given a day off Wednesday, as rain forced the cancellation of its games with Kent State and Dartmouth in Bradenton, Fla. UWM and KSU were scheduled for a 9 a.m. first pitch, while the Panthers were set to take on the Big Green at 1 p.m.

With the loss of a day's action, Milwaukee (3-10) has just one game remaining on its annual Florida Trip, and it will take on Illinois on Thursday (March 24). UWM faces the Fighting Illini at 9:30 a.m. before returning to Wisconsin.
