Baseball Announces More Schedule Changes
April 3, 2014
MILWAUKEE - Head coach Scott Doffek of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team has announced a change for the weekend series against Oakland and a postponement of another game for next week.
First up, for the weekend, the Panthers and Golden Grizzlies were originally scheduled to play single games Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, the team knows that it will not play any games Friday.
That leaves three games to be played between Saturday and Sunday. However, the exact schedule and game times will be determined by the end of the day Friday after playing conditions and forecasts can be more accurately considered.
The playing schedule will be announced as soon as it is known on the UWM website.
UPDATE: The schedule has been set. UWM will play a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday and a single game starting at noon Sunday.
Also, next week, Milwaukee was set to play Cardinal Stritch Tuesday, April 8. Due to Stritch having to makeup conference games, it can no longer play that day and the contest has been rescheduled to April 30, set for a first pitch of 4 p.m.
