Baseball Game Against Wisconsin Lutheran Postponed
April 15, 2013
MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team will have another delay to its home opener this spring, as Tuesday's contest against Wisconsin Lutheran College has now been postponed, head coach Scott Doffek announced this morning.
The Warriors were forced to rearrange their schedule this week so they could play a previously-postponed conference doubleheader on Tuesday instead of making the trip to Henry Aaron Field.
The Panthers cannot seem to catch a break in the schedule this spring, but have re-added the contest against WLC to the slate. The two teams will now play May 6 at Henry Aaron Field, with a first pitch of 3 p.m.
Milwaukee hopes to finally open the home slate this week, with scheduled contests against Edgewood College Wednesday, Cardinal Stritch Thursday and then a three-game set against Wright State on the weekend.
