Milwaukee Baseball Forced To Postpone Carroll Game
UWM will finally open the home slate tomorrow.

UWM will finally open the home slate tomorrow.

April 23, 2013

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team will no longer be playing its scheduled game today against Carroll University due to the heavy rain in the Milwaukee area.

The game has been postponed and will now be played later this week, set for a 1 p.m. first pitch Thursday.

That means that the Panthers next game will now be tomorrow at Miller Park against Northwestern.

Parking lots and gates will be open one hour before the first pitch of 4:05 p.m.

UWM will honor its heritage in a pregame ceremony tomorrow. From 1927-1951, the nickname of the Milwaukee athletic program was the "Green Gulls". Former athletes from that time frame will be in attendance and honored in a pregame ceremony before the Panthers take on the Wildcats. The current team will also be wearing throwback jerseys and hats with the Green Gulls logo to commemorate the occasion.
