MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has had its baseball game at UIC cancelled Sunday due to inclement weather in the Chicago area.

Heavy rains and lightning forced the Panthers and Flames to call off the final game of the weekend series after waiting nearly three hours to try and get things underway.

Milwaukee returns to action Wednesday with its annual trek to Miller Park, set to take on the Northwestern Wildcats after the conclusion of the Brewers game that day.
