MILWAUKEE - Jacob Tuttle of Mukwonago, Wis., has signed an Intent to Enroll to play baseball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, pitching coach Cory Bigler announced today.

Tuttle was named Honorable Mention All-Classic 8 Conference last year as a junior, going 4-2 with a 4.24 ERA in eight games. The strong-throwing lefty recorded 69 strikeouts in 41.0 innings of work.

"Jake is a left-handed pitcher with good arm action and a high ceiling," Bigler said. "He comes to the program with a good breaking ball and natural life on his fastball. I am excited to work with Jake this fall and see him take the next step."

Tuttle has lettered in baseball, football and tennis in high school and was 4-2 with a 4.24 ERA as a sophomore, striking out 54 batters in 34.2 innings.

He is currently playing his senior season of baseball this summer, with Mukwonago recently topping Waukesha West - the No. 3 team in the state - twice in less than a week.
