Join The Milwaukee Baseball Program For Chili Cook-Off

MILWAUKEE - Join the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team for its Second Annual Holiday Social on Sunday, December 2. The team will be holding a Chili Cook-Off at the Radisson Hotel in Glendale and will also be watching the Packers take on the Vikings on big-screen televisions. Join them, starting at 11 a.m., for the chance to meet the 2013 team and get ready for another exciting season of Milwaukee baseball. For just $20 ($10 for children under 12) you can sample each of the chili entries. With your entry, you also get hot dogs, tap beer, soda and other snacks. There will also be plenty of door prizes, not to mention a wide selection of raffles that would make great last minute holiday gifts. American TV will be a major sponsor of the event and will provide two 70-inch flat screen TVs for everyone to watch the Packers take on the Vikings. Invite all of your family and friends out for a day of fun, UWM baseball and football. Do you think you have a winning chili recipe? Why not put it up against everyone else? There will be two chili categories - PROS (Restaurants) vs. JOES (Individual). There will be cash prizes for three places in each category, with the winners of each facing off in a CHILI SHOWDOWN with three celebrity judges that will determine the ULTIMATE CHILI COOK-OFF winner. The fee for each chili entry is $15 for individuals and $25 for restaurant entries. First prize in each category is $100, second prize is $50 and third place receives their entry fee back. The best part is, if you bring a chili entry, you don't need to purchase a ticket for the tailgate party. It's win-win.
