Named Player of the Year by the Appleton Post Crescent as a senior, also earning all-area recognition from the paper ... averaged 27.3 points amd 12.0 rebounds per game his final year ... other honors included all-conference, co-conference player of the year, WSAW All-Area and WBCA North All-Star Team recognition ... led Amherst to a 21-1 record in 1999-2000, finishing up a three year stretch of seasons with 20 or more wins ... also lettered three times in football, earning all-conference honors as a defensive end, and once in track ... had a 3.8 GPA and made the honor roll three years straight ... earned academic all-state recognition, as well as the National Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete Award.
