Panthers Will Play At IUPUI In Annual BracketBusters Event Jaguars will then return game to Milwaukee in future season

The Panthers will play at IUPUI in this year's BracketBusters event

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team will play IUPUI in the annual BracketBusters event.

The game is set for Sat., Feb. 23, in Indianapolis, Ind. The contest will tip off at 3 p.m. EST/2 p.m. CST.

As part of the BracketBusters contract, IUPUI will play a return game in Milwaukee either next season or in 2014-15.

This season, IUPUI is 6-19 and has dropped nine-straight games.

The Panthers and Jaguars squared off at the U.S. Cellular Arena a year ago, with Milwaukee claiming a 62-49 win. This is the second time Milwaukee has been drawn against a Summit League team in BracketBusters, with UWM having been pitted against North Dakota State in 2009.

The BracketBusters contest is part of a season-ending stretch that has Milwaukee on the road for four of its final five games. Before that run, UWM plays three-straight home games, starting Thursday against Detroit.
