MILWAUKEE - Boo Davis has earned a place in the summer training camp of the Indiana Pacers.

Davis is one of 20 players invited to the camp by the Pacers, who are placing a team in the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando next week.

Davis earned Second Team All-Horizon League honors this past season while finishing second on the team in scoring. Davis made 147 three-point shots in two seasons at UWM, starting 60 of his 63 games. He saved some of his best play for late in his senior season, pouring in a career-best 31 points against UIC Feb. 15. He also tallied a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds in the league tournament semifinals against Loyola and led the way with 26 points in an NCAA Tournament First Round win over Oklahoma. He also set a Kohl Center record with seven 3-point baskets against Wisconsin Dec. 15.

Davis is working out this weekend at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Pacers are expected to trim their roster before summer league play begins on Monday.

Davis is the third Panther invited to a summer league camp or team this week. Clay Tucker is on the Cleveland Cavaliers' summer league roster, while Joah Tucker is on the roster of the Miami Heat.
