Panthers Pitch In To Help With 12 Hour Hoopla Event
Aug. 7, 2012
MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team helped out with the fifth-annual 12 Hour Hoopla at the Jewish Community Center. The event helps raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin and Rainbow Camp, which is conducted in association with staff from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the community center. The Panther men lent their assistance toward basketball clinics throughout the day, with the main focus on clinics for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. The full day of activities included 12 hours of games and clinics, a silent auction, a family movie night and the end of the day and much more. In five years, 12 Hour Hoopla has raised more than $30,000 for kids in need. For more information on the annual event, visit 12 Hour Hoopla online.
