Panthers Add Game To Europe Trip
Aug. 13, 2003 MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team has added a sixth game to its 11-day tour of Europe that starts next week. The Panthers will now play the Schwelmer Baskets Sunday, August 24 in Germany. The Schwelmer club is a high-level second-division team in Germany. UWM is already scheduled to play two games in Belgium, another game in Germany and two games in France as part of its tour, which runs from August 18-29. Last year, UWM won a school-record 24 games and qualified for its first-ever NCAA Division I Tournament after winning the Horizon League Championship. First-Team All-League performer Dylan Page leads the group of players that return and will make the trip with the Panthers.
