MILWAUKEE -
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team will make at least five appearances on the ESPN Family of Networks during the 2012-13 season.
The full Horizon League/ESPN television schedule was released today by the league.
Milwaukee's national television slate is highlighted by its battle with Green Bay Jan. 25 at the Klotsche Center. The game will air at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Panthers could make a second ESPNU appearance Feb. 1 at Valparaiso, with the contest airing either on the U or ESPN3. UWM will also appear on ESPN3 Jan. 3 at Detroit, Jan. 12 at home against Valparaiso and Feb. 26 at Green Bay. The Valparaiso game will be part of the Horizon League Game of the Week package and will also air on local affiliates throughout the league.
Milwaukee could land additional ESPN dates later this year. The networks will once again cover a number of games during the BracketBusters weekend, Feb, 22-24, as well as during the Horizon League Tournament in March.
These TV dates will be in addition to UWM's local television schedule, which will be announced at a later date.
