UWM Sets Additional Ticket Promotions, Plans
Dec. 3, 2009
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has a number of additional upcoming ticket packages and promotions for the months of December and January for both men's and women's basketball.
These packages are in addition to the ongoing Verizon Wireless "Dollar Days" and "Half-Price Full Fun" games that continue throughout the season.
UWM is bringing back its special holiday ticket packages that were a big hit last season.
The special men's package starts at just $50 while the women's package is just $25.
The "New Year's Four-Pack" includes four tickets to any January men's game, plus four hot dogs, four sodas and four Panther t-shirts. January home games include weekend contests with Green Bay (Jan. 9), Wright State (Jan. 16) and Butler (Jan. 31).
Meanwhile, the "Pepsi Score With Four" package includes four tickets to any January women's game, plus four hot dogs, four sodas and four Panther t-shirts. January home games include contests with Green Bay (Jan. 16) and Butler (Jan. 30).
Fans can purchase the special packages through Ticketmaster. For more information, call the Panther Ticket Office at 414-229-5886.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team and the Hunger Task Force are teaming up to help those in need this weekend.
Fans attending the Panthers' game Dec. 3 against UIC or the Dec. 5 contest against Loyola can bring non-perishable food items to the game and receive a pair of special gifts. All fans who make a donation will receive a coupon for $5 off tickets to a future Panther game, as well as a coupon from Papa John's Pizza.
Donation bins will be set up in the main lobby of the U.S. Cellular Arena prior to each game.
Both contests tip off at 7 p.m.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team can shoot fans into a discounted ticket price for the Dec. 19 home game with Miami (Ohio).
Individual ticket prices for that contest will be set based on the number of three-pointers the Panthers make in their Dec. 8 game at Marquette.
Time Warner Cable's "Three-For-All" will see UWM drop the price of all tickets by $1 for every three-pointer the Panthers make. If Milwaukee makes enough three-pointers, the price could go as low as the $3 facility fee paid on all tickets. Regular ticket prices are $20, $15 and $10.
