2014: Will serve as a team captain ... named to the MAC Hermann Trophy watch list and chosen as a member of the Top Drawer Soccer Preseason First-Team Best XI ... No. 8 on TDS's Top 100 NCAA Players in 2014 ... also named the College Sports Madness Preseason Player of the Year and to its first-team all-league.

Finished with career-highs in all categories after starting and playing in all 20 games ... served as a team captain ... led the Horizon League in points (30), goals (13), goals-per-game and shots-per game ... ranked ninth in the the NCAA in goals, 12th in goals-per-game, 14th in total points and 16th in points-per-game ... his 95 shots led the conference and was the second-highest total in program history ... just the second player in program history to earn First-Team All-American honors and the fourth UWM student-athlete to earn First-Team All-American honors across all sports ... became the first Milwaukee student-athlete in any sport to earn First-Team All-American honors in the same season as earning First-Team Academic All-America honors ... just the second Horizon League athlete to earn the double-distinction ... first Panther to earn league player of the year honors since Antou Jallow in 2004 and just the third player to ever earn the distinction in program history ... two-time Horizon League Player of the Week honoree ... first player to score 10 or more goals since 2004 ... recorded first point just 60 seconds into season opener against No. 12 Marquette Aug. 30, sending a long free kick on to goal for an assist as UWM took the 1-0 lead ... struck for first goal of the year against Drake Sept. 6 ... scored a goal in five straight games Sept. 22 to Oct. 8, the first Panther to net goals in five in a row since 2004 ... scored goals in five consecutive games for the second time in the season, finding the net each contest Oct. 23 to Nov. 16, including game-winning tallies against Oakland Oct. 26, NIU Oct. 30 and again against OU in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament Nov. 16 ... named a First-Team member of the College Sports Madness Horizon League Preseason All-Conference Team ... named to the Panther Invitational All-Tournament Team ... member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
2012: Emerged as one of the top players in the league as a sophomore ... earned First-Team All-Horizon League honors after leading the team with 21 points, eight goals and five assists ... started all 17 games in which he appeared ... became first UWM sophomore to earn first-team all-league honors since 2005 ... finished second in the league in points, third in goals and tied for the league lead in assists ... was also second in shots (58) despite missing a game ... also selected to the College Sports Madness First-Team All-League ... earned a spot on the Capital One Academic All-District First-Team and Horizon Academic All-League squads as well ... two-time Horizon League Player of the Week (Aug. 27 and Oct. 1) ... first UWM player to record 20-plus points since 2005 ... scored a goal in three-straight games Aug. 26-Sept. 2 ... named MVP and a member of the Panther Invitational All-Tournament Team ... had assists the next two games to become the first Panther with points in five games in a row since 2007 ... went 3-for-3 on penalty kicks ... netted the game-winning goals against Northern Kentucky Aug. 26, Eastern Illinois Sept. 2 and Valparaiso Nov. 3 ... found the back of the net in back-to-back games against Omaha Oct. 16 and Cleveland State Oct. 20 ... author of "Bell's Blog" on the UWM website ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.
2011: Enjoyed a solid freshman campaign, making 14 starts in 15 games ... scored a pair of goals and had three assists for seven points ... 26 shots overall ... scored a goal in the season opener against IPFW Aug. 26 ... recorded assists in three of the next four games, adding helpers against Western Illinois Sept. 2, Marquette Sept. 9 and Butler Sept. 24 ... also had a season-high five shots against WIU ... had four shot attempts and netted a goal against Wright State Oct. 15.
Poynton: Played five years of soccer at the high school level ... was the team's top scorer and helped squad to three league titles ... also played cricket for three years and ran cross country for two seasons, finishing third at the district championship.
