Kyle Trimble returns to the staff of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's soccer team as a team manager after spending last season as the the volunteer goalkeeper coach.
Trimble has most recently served as the goalie coach for the Whitefish Bay U-16 girls, U-18 boys and club teams. Following college, he was the St. Olaf (Minn.) College men's and women's assistant coach in 2006 after serving as the Eastview freshman coach in 2005, directing the team to a 14-3-2 record. His coaching career also had a local start, working as the Whitefish Bay goalie coach for U-13 and U-14 girls teams from 1999 to 2004 and as a camp coach for the Minnesota Thunder from 2004 to 2006.
Trimble played high school soccer at nearby Whitefish Bay High School before a collegiate career in the nets at St. Olaf. While there, he was an all-conference selection in 2004 and helped his team to a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship that same year, posting a 0.87 goals against average. His professional career included time with the Minnesota Blast of the PASL (2003-05), the Minnesota International First Division (2004-06), the Minnesota Thunder (2006) and the Milwaukee Wave (2005-07).
In addition, he is a USSF national referee, a NISOA college referee and holds a USSF national "D" coaching license.
