-The Panthers have now played into overtime in three of their six games in the 2005 season. They are 0-1-2 in the three matches. -UWM remains unbeaten this season (2-0-1) when scoring first. -Milwaukee outshot Oregon State 10-5 in the game, marking the fifth straight game where they have outshot their opponents. -Today's game marked the first-ever contest between the two teams. -Freshman goalkeeper Grant Fernstrum and sophomore Ken Ogorzalek each made their first career start against OSU. -Junior Craig Mallace was held without a point for the first time this season. His streak of five games with a point goes into the record book as a tie for the eighth-best such streak. Mallace recorded one goal and five assists in the stretch. -Junior Steve Sperl had an assist today, giving him a team-leading seven points (2G/3A) on the year and upping his career-high. Sperl had five points in each of his first two seasons at UWM. Sperl leads the team with 22 shots and 11 shots on goal. -Sophomore Zeke Dombrowski added his first point of the season with an assist, giving Milwaukee their 12th different player to record a point in 2005. -Sophomore Steve Bode earned the team award for the "Man of the Match".
