-Milwaukee moves to 25-7-3 in the all-time series with Marquette and retains the Milwaukee Cup for the fourth-straight season. -UWM is now 5-1-1 in the past six Milwaukee Cup matches. -The tie is the first in the series since a 0-0 draw in 1997. -The goal was the first of the season for senior Steve Bode, making him the 10th different player to score for UWM this season. -UWM head coach Jon Coleman spent nine seasons (1997-2005) as an assistant for Louis Bennett before taking over the position when Bennett left to coach at Marquette. He is 1-0-1 in the two meetings head-to-head since. -Milwaukee is 5-2-3 after the 0-8 start to the season. -The team retained the Chancellor's Cup with a 1-0 win over Green Bay last week, keep the Milwaukee Cup with the tie tonight and will look to regain the LeWang Trophy from Northern Illinois when the two teams square off next week. NIU won, 1-0, in overtime last season.
