2002-03 2001-2002 Set a new Horizon League record in the 100 freestyle at the league championships, finishing with a time of 44.65, good for an NCAA B Cut time, the first in UWM's Division I history...also placed third in the 100 butterfly and fourth in the 50 free at the league championships...finished the season with five wins in the 100 free...captured first place in the 50 free and 100 free at the Wheaton Invitational...took first in the 100 free and second in the 50 free at the Bill Ritter Invitational...set a new school and meet record in the 100 free at the Wheaton Invitational...also set the school record in the 50 free at the Wheaton Invitational...suffered a broken hand at the Wheaton Invitational, forcing him to miss six weeks of training...was also named Academic All-American, the first UWM swimmer to earn the honor since UWM moved to Division I in 1990. 2000-2001 Member of the conference champion 400 freestyle relay, as well as second place 800 free, fourth place 200 medley, and fourth place free relays...finished fourth in the 100 freestyle and sixth in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly at the MCC Championships...set freshman records in both the 50 (20.85) and 100 freestyle (46.14)...was a team co-MVP. High School Was the 2000 WIAA Division I State Champion in the 50 freestyle and took second in the 100...also made the state finals in both events in 1999...earned All-American Honorable Mention status for the 50 freestyle in 2000...swam with the Schroeder YMCA club in Brown Deer.
