Milwaukee Closes Regular Season With Impressive Win Over Green Bay

Panthers win all but one swimming event on the day

2012-13: Broke the school record and came in fourth in the 1000 freestyle and was third in the mile at the Horizon League Championships ... also helped the 800 free relay team to a Horizon League title, just missing the school record at the league meet ... finished third in the 500 free and sixth in the mile in season opener against Wisconsin ... won the 200 free only time scoring in the event against Wheaton Nov. 2 ... won the 500 free and was second in the 1000 free in a big win over Green Bay Feb. 2 ... in all, placed in the top three an impressive 13 times on the season.

2011-12: Named Horizon League Men's Newcomer of the Year after taking second in the 1650 free, third in the 1000 free and sixth in the 500 free to help Milwaukee to its third-consecutive team title at the Horizon League Championships as a freshman ... time in the mile was a UWM freshman record ... also swam in the 800 free relay at the league meet, taking Second-Team All-Horizon League honors and just missing the school record ... took first in the 1000 free and second in the 500 free in collegiate debut to help the Panthers to their first-ever win over Wisconsin Oct. 7 ... topped the field in both events the following three meets in wins over Grand Valley State (Oct. 15), Ball State (Oct. 28) and Wright State (Oct. 29) ... won the mile, took second in the 500 free and seventh in the 100 free at the Stevens Point Border Battle Nov. 11-12 ... 12th in the 1650 free, 17th in the 200 free and 20th in the 500 free at the Iowa Hawkeye Invitational Dec. 2-4 ... placed first in both the 500 and 1000 free in a lop-sided win over Green Bay Feb. 4 ... won an impressive 10 individual races as a freshman.

High School: Was a dominant swimmer over the course of his career at Clarkston High School, setting school records in 10 of 11 events during his junior and senior seasons ... placed eighth in the 200 freestyle and ninth in the 500 freestyle despite battling illness as a senior ... was the Oakland county champion in both events (the school's first-ever) and also claimed the OAA Red Division championship in the 500 free and 200 IM ... went on to earn first-team all-area honors in the 500 free in final season and was also second team all-area in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay ... was an all-state swimmer ... also finished fourth in the 500 free and sixth in the 200 free at state meet as a junior.
