MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee kicks off its swimming and diving season with two events, opening the schedule with an intrasquad meet Friday, Oct. 1, and then holding its alumni meet, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, both at the Klotsche Natatorium. The fourth annual events welcome back alumni and friends of the program as the Panthers will take to the pool for the first time this fall.

The team gets things underway Friday at 5 p.m. with a special presentation planned. The men's team will be receiving its championship rings after winning the team crown at the 2010 Horizon League Championship last February.

Action will then get underway Saturday at 1 p.m.
