MILWAUKEE - Junior Ashley Hall and sophomore Patrick Rongitsch of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee diving teams have been named the Female and Male Horizon League Diver of the Week, the league office announced today.

Hall won both diving events against UIC and Butler this past weekend, marking the third time this season she has accomplished the feat.

Hall led the way on the one-meter board (233.10) as her team placed four in the top five. She then won the three-meter event with a total of 265.35 points.

This is the second award for the Panther women this year after winning league swimmer or diver accolades 12 times last season. Hall also won the diving honor Oct. 17.

Rongitsch continues to dominate his competition, as he won both boards for the second time this season against UIC and North Dakota. He scored 271.40 on the one-meter, and won the three-meter by over 20 points (270.10). He now has five victories, four second-place finishes, and one third-place finish this season.

This is the second award for the Panther men this year after winning league swimmer or diver accolades twice last season. Rongitsch also won Oct. 17 of this season.

The team is off until the end of the moth, when the swimmers head to the Wheaton Invitational and the divers head to the Miami (OH) Invitational Nov. 30 & Dec. 1.
