Cole Caps Career With Personal-Best Triple Jump
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (May 31, 2008) - Senior Darren Cole leapt a personal-best 50-3 1/4 in representing the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's track and field team on the final day of the NCAA Regional Saturday at the University of Arkansas. In his final collegiate meet, the six-time league triple jump champion surpassed his personal best in the event and placed 12th. He had previously leapt 50-0 3/4 and fell just three inches shy of the school record (50-6 1/4).
