MILWAUKEE - Jake Reilly of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's cross country team was named Horizon League Men's Runner of the Week, the league office announced this afternoon.

This is the third time in his career and the second time this season that Reilly has been recognized by the league for his efforts. He also won the award Sept. 10 after taking first at the Midwest Open.

Running at the massive Greater Louisville Classic this past Saturday, Reilly finished an outstanding fourth overall and third among collegiate student-athletes out of more than 350 competitors. The senior crossed the line with a season-best time of 25:01.56 to lead the way for UWM.

Milwaukee has a week off before returning to action Oct. 12 when the team heads to Peoria, Ill. for the annual Bradley Classic.
