MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Feb. 28, 2011) - Lindsay Laur of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's basketball team was named the Horizon League Player of the Week for Feb. 28, the league office announced today

On Saturday, she was honored before the game alongside the team's other four seniors as a part of Senior Day. Then, she hit the game-winning layup with 4.9 seconds remaining to give UWM the 70-69 win. She finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, but scored seven of her team's final nine points of regulation as the Panthers overcame a six-point deficit in the last two minutes. She did so playing with four fouls.
