The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee paid tribute to former women's basketball coach Sandy Botham during the "Celebrating Sandy" event last Wednesday at the UWM Union.

Botham left her position as the head women's basketball coach at UWM in April for a position in the school's Alumni Relations office.

The video tribute above was played at the event and features the thoughts from former Panther players and coaches.

Botham is the winningest coach in Horizon League history, having led the Panthers to a pair of league titles and NCAA Tournaments. She collected 245 wins in her 16 seasons on the sidelines, including a record 156 in league play. Botham was also a three-time league coach of the year winner.
