The other goals in contention were goals from Vienna Behnke, Krissy Dorre and two from Helen Steinhauser. Behnke's goal was the team's first of the season and came off a quick Steinhauser restart and was also assisted by Kelly Lewers. Dorre's entry was the game-winning goal in the second overtime against Wright State in the league title game and was assisted by Sara Stern. Steinhauser's first goal was a free kick score, also from the Miami game, while her second was a double-overtime strike against Loyola in the regular season. Holbert assisted on that goal, as well.
This is the second year of the team's Goal of the Year. Keara Thompson was the inaugural recipient.
