Milwaukee women's soccer is off to a 1-0-1 record after the first weekend of the regular season, tying No. 24 South Carolina Friday and routing St. Bonaventure 4-0 Sunday. The Panthers are set for another stiff challenge this weekend, playing at No. 13 Marquette Friday and hosting a 2-0 Miami University Sunday.

The Black & Gold Network headed to practice this week and turned over the microphone to senior midfielders Demi Price and Helen Steinhauser to discuss this week's local derby with crosstown rival Marquette. The duo also talked about the team's games last weekend and the keys to success against the Golden Eagles.

Steinhauser and Price are also the co-bloggers behind "Notes from the Midfield," the team's player blog. Steinhauser authored the blog last season and the duo recorded a video entry for the first post this week.
