The No. 17/11 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team opens the 2011 Horizon League season this weekend, traveling to Cleveland State Friday.

The Panthers bounced back from a tough, 1-0 loss Wednesday against Marquette to upend Wisconsin, 2-1 in overtime, Sunday. Off to a school-record 7-1 start, UWM is ranked prominently in the nation and sits atop the Great Lakes region poll and now turns its sights to Horizon League play.

We caught up with freshmen Emily Scott and Kelly Lewers to talk about the Wisconsin game, the season so far and goals for the league season.

Milwaukee has won 11-straight league regular season championships and was picked for a 12th in the preseason coaches' poll.
