MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Oct. 22, 2012) - Krissy Dorre of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today.

The award is the first of Dorre's career and the fourth for a Panther this season. Amy Kauffung was named offensive player of the week Aug. 27, while Jamie Forbes (Aug. 27) and Hannah Kaul (Oct. 8) have collected defensive honors.

Dorre scored both goals in a 2-1 Milwaukee win last Friday at Green Bay. The win extended the Panthers' season-high winning streak to three games and put them in a tie for first place. She picked up her first score of the game in the eighth minute unassisted. Then, in the 30th minute, Dorre broke through for the game-winner off assists from Emily Scott and Kelly Lewers.

Dorre and the Panthers return to action Friday, hosting Cleveland State in their regular season finale. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Engelmann Stadium.
