MILWAUKEE - Senior Kelsey George and sophomore Zac Kraai of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee swimming & diving team have been named the Horizon League Diver and Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced this afternoon.

George closes out the regular season with her fourth diving honor of the year and ninth of her career. For Kraai, the accolade is a career-first.

George led the way for Milwaukee in the diving events in a close loss at Green Bay. She captured first-place on the three-meter board with 278.55 points and was runner-up in the one-meter event with 243.30 points.

Kraai helped the Panthers defeat Green Bay Saturday. He recorded season-best times in both events he competed in, setting a pool record in the 500 freestyle in 4:32.46, the second-fastest time in the Horizon League this season. He also topped the field in the 1,000 freestyle, finishing in a season-best time of 9:30.78.

All Horizon League swimming and diving programs are off until the Horizon League Championship, Feb. 23-26, hosted by Cleveland State in Cleveland, Ohio. HLN will provide live coverage on www.horizonleague.com.
