MILWAUKEE - Alysa Straub of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has been named the Horizon League Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

The freshman won both her singles and doubles flights at the Panther/Warhawk Invitational this past weekend.

Straub went 3-0 in singles play, winning the flight title with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Arantza De La Torre of Northern Illinois. In doubles play, Straub teamed with fellow freshman Hayley Marshall for a perfect 3-0 mark. The duo controlled all three of its matches, including an 8-5 win over Leah Dancz and Kali Phillips of Grand Valley State in the title contest.
