After four outstanding seasons with the Milwaukee cross country and track and field programs, Tanaiya Fisher joins the Panthers coaching staff while finishing up her degree at UWM. The Milwaukee native capped an impressive career in a Panther uniform last season, breaking the 24-year-old record in the 1500m with a time of 4:27.50 at the NCAA regional qualifier. She also was all-league second team-in the 800m in outdoor and the indoor DMR. In cross country, she earned all-league second-team honors in her final three seasons and was consistently one of the top-two finishers for the Panthers in all of those seasons. All told, Fisher earned league honors a total of seven times between the two sports. She will be helping in distance events this seasons. |
