After a standout four-year career with the Panthers, Timeka Walker is in her sixth year as a volunteer assistant with the program. She assists coaches in working with the sprinters.

In a career that concluded with the 2007 season, Walker won nine Horizon League individual championships and broke three school records while ranking second in another event.

She capped her career by winning each league event she competed in as a senior, pacing the field in the 60m (7.71) and 200m (25.41) indoors and the 100m (11.81) and 200m (24.31) outdoors. She broke the league 200m record with a time of 23.94 in the prelims and was named the Outstanding Track Performer of the meet.

Walker was also a part of league championship teams at the 2006 and 2007 indoor meets and the outdoor meet in 2007.

A graduate of UWM, she earned her degree in psychology in 2006 before working toward a second degree in sociology in her final season.
