Was a three-year state qualifier in cross country at Poynette High School ... took 10th at the state division 3 meet as a sophomore ... placed 11th at the division 2 meet as a senior ... won a sectional championship as a sophomore and set a school cross country record at state ... competed in track as a senior, taking second at the conference meet in the 2-mile run and qualifying for sectionals ... also lettered four times in softball and basketball ... was an all-state centerfielder in softball, earning all-conference honors three times.
