KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Juniors Katie Slamka and Tenia Fisher posted solid times in representing the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's track and field team at the Sea Ray Relays, Friday afternoon in Knoxville, Tenn. The pair were the lone Panthers competing in Tennessee, while the remainder of the team is at the Pacesetter Invitational this weekend in Terre Haute, Ind.

Slamka competed in the 400m hurdles and took 27th in the event with a time of 1:03.45. In the 800m, Fisher posted a respectable time of 2:15.36 in taking 32nd in the event.

Both runners will rejoin the remainder of the team next weekend at the Central Collegiate Championships in Champaign, Ill. This week, Milwaukee is competing at the Pacesetter Invitational, completing the first day of action today, and wrapping up the meet on Saturday.
