EUGENE, Ore. (May 26, 2011) - Tanaiya Fisher and Ben Crogan opened the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee track and field team's competition at the NCAA West Preliminaries Thursday at the University of Oregon.

Fisher competed in the 1500m and Crogan the pole vault.

Fisher wrapped up her career with a 46th-place finish in the 1500m. She ran 4:42.35. Meanwhile, Crogan was one of 13 competitors to not register a height in the pole vault competition.

The meet continues Friday when the remaining four Panthers will compete. The first Milwaukee event begins at 5:15 p.m.
