Panthers Have Olympic Fever

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (July 23, 2012) - With the 2012 Olympic Games kicking off in London this week, the Black & Gold Network visited some of Milwaukee Athletics' resident experts to preview their events and we will bring you those previews all week long.

The week gets started Monday, as the men's basketball staff and players weigh in on the debate: Who would win in a game between the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team and the original Dream Team from the 1992 Olympics?

Other videos include head volleyball coach Susie Johnson discussing both the indoor and beach volleyball events; new assistant coaches Kristen Weiss (women's soccer) and Janese Banks (women's basketball) talking about the United States' role as favorites in those two sports; student-athletes Nick Hughes and Chelsea Maxey discussing their events in the track & field competition; a look back at Emily McClellan's quest to qualify for the Olympics in swimming & diving; and head tennis coach Sean McInerney previewing the tennis competition at historic Wimbledon.
