2000: As the tallest member of the squad (6-2), Larissa found her way into every game of the season and was a major contributor for the conference-champion Panthers...solidified her case for a starting spot with an 11 kill, two assist performance in the season-opener against Boston College at the South Florida Tournament Sept. 1...made a difference in the home opener, recording 11 kills and a .444 hitting percentage against Wyoming Sept. 8...had 16 kills and a .382 hitting percentage in the opener of the Panther Powerade Invitational against Austin Peay Sept. 9...recorded 10 big blocks and 12 kills in five games against crosstown rival Marquette Sept. 12...was a presence at the State Farm Illini Classic Sept. 15-16, blocking seven balls in the first game against Ball State and scoring 12 kills on 17 attacks for a .588 hitting percentage against New Hampshire...had 10 kills on 17 attacks for a .412 hitting percentage against Illinois State Sept. 26...had 14 kills and four digs against Butler Oct. 6...had 10 kills and nine blocks in a big Panther win at DePaul Oct. 18...had 11 digs, eight blocks, and 10 kills on 19 attacks with just a single error (.474 hitting percentage) in her season-best performance against Loyola Chicago Oct. 28...went 14-for-31 on attack at Butler Nov. 4...did all she could in the Conference Championship Game against Butler Nov. 18, blocking eight balls.
1999: Saw limited time in her first collegiate season, playing in six key matches and 13 games...had a season-high 11 kill performance against Wright State Nov. 13...contributed 6 kills and 4 digs against Green Bay on Oct. 30...was fourth in the MCC and second on the team in hitting with a .313 hitting percentage...received 2000 UWM Scholar-Athlete Honors With Distinction.
Fargo North: Lettered four years in volleyball, earning a 767 kills and 453 blocks in her storied career...ended up with single-game highs of 21 kills and 11 blocks...was a three-time All-Eastern North Dakota Conference player and a member of the all-state team her senior year...helped the Spartans to the state championship her freshman year, also leading them to the final match her junior and senior year...was on the honor roll.
Personal: Daughter of Allan and Nancy...played club volleyball for the Red River Junior Olympics team for three years and the Fargo North Junior Olympics team for four years... helped sandbag the Red River in Fargo during the a 1997 flood...has also done volunteer work for the Salvation Army..has tought Sunday and Bible school.
