2000: Shifted towards a defensive role and saw an increase in action as a sophomore, hopping into 25 matches and 83 games...reestablished her career high with 12 digs in an early-season tilt against Austin Peay Sept. 9...had five digs and a service ace at Loyola Sept. 30...had 10 digs in a Halloween win over Valparaiso...got plenty of opportunities Nov. 3 in five games at Wright State, digging out 11 balls, recording a block and participating in 21 attacks...recorded 11 digs at the conference championship against Butler Nov. 4.
1999: Contributed a hitting threat off the bench, appearing in 22 matches and 55 games as a rookie...was named to the MCC All-Newcomer Team after the season...had her breakout game against IUPUI Sept. 11, putting up a .500 hitting percentage with five kills and no errors in 10 attacks...had a big second day at the University of Wisconsin Tournament September 18, recording seven digs against Marquette that afternoon, then putting up a .462 hitting percentage with six kills, no errors in 13 attacks against the #13 Badgers that night...had a .368 hitting percentage with nine kills in 19 attacks at Illinois State Sept. 21...had six kills, six digs and two blocks at Akron Oct. 22...played a big part in the Panthers' Oct. 30 win over UW-Green Bay, posting a .533 hitting percentage with nine kills and five digs...equaled her season-high with seven digs against Illinois in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Dec. 2...was named a 2000 UWM Scholar-Athlete in the spring.
Clintonville: Lettered four times in volleyball, earning the
Green Bay Press-Gazette's Player of the Year Award her junior and senior years and the
Appleton Post-Cresent's Player of the Year honor her senior year...had 408 kills as a senior...was the team MVP her freshman, junior and senior years...was a three-time All-Bay Conference and all-state selection...also lettered four years in track and field, taking second at the WIAA Division 2 Championships in the long jump; as well as three years in basketball and one year in gymnastics...was on the honor roll, was a member of the National Honor Society, and graduated with honors...was named a Bay Conference Scholar-Athlete.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Renee...is majoring in Kinesiology and is considering a career in physical therapy...volunteers with local nursing homes and food banks, the Salvation Army, and the Shawano Medical Center when back in Clintonville...enjoys reading, camping and canoeing in her spare time.
